Reservations

To make reservations, please call 703.706.0450 directly.
Our reservation book opens two months to the date. For example, if the current date is March 17, the book will open today for May 17 requests.

• There is much more flexibility with dining times and availability during the week.
• If we do not have your date available please request to be added to the wait list.-We really do try to accommodate.
• We will call to confirm your reservations, please be sure to leave a number where you can be reached.
• We require a credit card to secure all weekend reservations and a reservation agreement for parties over 4.

Cancellation Policy

Ours is an intimate, destination restaurant. We understand that plans change. However, if you do not inform us of your need to cancel 24 hours in advance, we are not able to recommit the table. There are many who opt for our waitlist, and it would be a shame if we were not able to offer it to another. There is a $25 per person cancellation fee. It is not our intention to charge you, however, a phone call only take moments so kindly plan appropriately and honor our commitment to each other.

Dining in the Chef's Tasting Room

Kindly be aware this is a multi-course dinner. Please plan accordingly for limousines and babysitters etc. In our experience, parties of 2 can expect 2.5 - 3 hours of dining time. Parties of 4-6, expect 3.5 - 4 hours. If some in your group opt for the nine-course menu, allow for an additional half hour.

Dining in The Tasting Room is a special occasion for those who have a penchant for fine food, handcrafted cocktails and are leisurely about dining - Welcome to our world.

Large Parties

The Chef's Tasting Room
6 is the largest party that we may accommodate on any given day. Please inquire about dining in our ‘Sunflower Room’ for private, tasting menu dinners.

The Bistro
12 is the largest party that may be seated at one table during the week and 8 on the weekends- based on availability.

Private Parties

We can accommodate a party up to 20 in the privacy of our Sunflower Room and up to 34 in the Chef’s Tasting Room. Trolley it from King Street Metro-

The King Street Trolley service will transport residents and visitors, between the Potomac River waterfront and the King Street Metro-rail Station. The free trolley will operate seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Approximately every 15 minutes, riders can board at the unit block of King Street near the Potomac River waterfront, the King Street Metro rail station, or at any of the signed stops along King Street, which are approximately 2 blocks apart.

Thank you so very much for considering giving us as a 'GIFT.' Our gift certificates are personalized with your 'special message' to the recipient. Enclosed in each form, you will find information in regard to purchase and instructions.

TO MAIL OUT: Please read and fill out the 'MAIL OUT' form with your information.

** All mailed certificates are sent via 'Certified mail' and a signature is required at time of delivery. A $7 fee will be added to purchase. This protects all parties so that your paid 'GIFT' is not lost.

Frequently Asked Questions

"Can I leave the value of the certificate blank?"
ANSWER: The value must be printed on the certificate for accounting purposes unless, it is agreed on the exact dollar amount that they may spend.

For example: Dinner for Two in the Chef's Tasting Room shall include: Two Specialty Cocktails, Two Five Course Dinners, and Sommelier Wine Pairings.

The reason being; bottles of wine vary in price and there are supplements on some of the tasting room menu items. This way you and the recipient can be assured of exactly what the gift entails.

* If there is a price increase, please note that the difference will also be paid by the guest.

* The gratuity must be the responsibility of the bearer on all certificates.
